Clayton Beach Falls

This probably wouldn't be worth the trouble normally. However, since it is located along one of the most beautiful drives in the country, you might as well check it out. The falls are along the trail to Clayton Beach. To see them just head into the woods after crossing the bridge over the creek. The falls are about 150' downstream from the bridge. In low water these falls are not at all impressive. I recently made a trip to the falls with the creek running high and as you can see from the pictures below it is much more beautiful in this type of water level. I think the main portion of the falls look like a chair for Bigfoot or some other large creature. A short distance downstream is another tier of the falls and a huge rope swing going over a shallow pool in the creek.
