Olney Creek is a large volume creek near the town of Gold Bar. Near the end of its run, the creek harbors three substantial waterfalls. This is the uppermost of those three. Here Olney Creek spreads out over an 80' wide ledge and thunders 27' into a pool creating such an immense amount of spray that it was virtually impossible to get a picture. I recently visited with the water level lower and the contrast is amazing. Instead of a raging torrent of water and mist, the creek drops in several smaller segments in a gentle fashion.

Cool potholes right below the bridge
