DIRECTIONS - Hadley Falls can be seen distantly from the Cougar Divide Trail. Drive all the way to the end of FR 33 (Wells Creek Road) and start hiking the trail. Once the trail breaks out of the trees and onto the ridge, you will see Hadley Falls below you on the left. Getting up close is extremely difficult and not recommended.

Hadley Falls is a fairly impressive waterfall located near the headwaters of Dobbs Creek (I've seen it spelled Dodds as well). The waterfall drops 191' along an unnamed, although fairly large volume stream. When I first saw the waterfall I was surprised at how steeply it dropped. From the aerial images I assumed this was a much more shallow, cascading waterfall. When I saw the falls from the bottom, I was shocked at how impressive they were. The creek is much larger than it appears from the trail.
