DIRECTIONS - Drive east on Mt Baker Highway to FR 33 (Wells Creek Road), signed for Nooksack Falls. Drive about 3/4 of a mile to the signed parking lot and walk to the viewpoint.

Nooksack Falls is the most famous waterfall in the Mt. Baker area. Here the North Fork of the Nooksack River splits into three segments and plunges 88' in an impressive waterfall. Just below the falls, Wells Creek joins the river. Please do NOT try to climb down to the river for a closer view. Many people have died at the falls over the years. The view from behind the fence is great anyway.

There used to be a trail that lead to the opposite side of the canyon and allowed the viewer to get to the bottom. This trail does NOT start anywhere near the signed viewpoint so don't bother searching there.
