"Adsaloos" is my English spelling of a Nooksack Indian word that means "beautiful". I've been hanging onto the word for just the right waterfall and when I saw this one, I knew immediately that I had found the right one. Adsaloos Falls is an absolutely stunning waterfall located on Rocky Creek in the middle of a gorgeous stretch of creek. The falls drops in two tiers: a 13' tall cascade and then the beautiful 34' tall, 40' wide main drop. The falls finish in a stunning pool and are surrounded by vegetation-covered cliff walls all around. Up and downstream from the falls are many more smaller waterfalls and countless pools of water. While very difficult to access, this is one of the prettiest waterfalls in the entire Mt. Baker area and immediately became one of my favorites.
