DIRECTIONS - Summer Falls State Park is located south of Coulee City. Take Pinto Ridge Rd south from town for a little over 8 miles to a signed road on the left. Dry down the road to the nice park.

Summer Falls State Park is a great place to cool down on a hot summer day. The falls itself drop almost 100' down a cool basalt cliff into a small lake. The falls are essentially man-made. The water pretty much all comes from irrigation ditches in the area. Lovely green grass provide a nice place to sit and have a picnic while you watch the falls drop into the lake. It's a great location for a lunch break if you're in the middle of a long, cross-state drive.
