DIRECTIONS - Follow the Heliotrope Ridge Trail to its end at Lunch Rock and the view of the Glacier. Heliotrope Falls can be seen cascading down the cliffs, if you can take your eyes off Baker anyway.

Heliotrope Falls is basically an accent to the stunning view of Mt. Baker and the Coleman Glacier from the end of the trail. The the waterfall might be a footnote, it is still an impressive sight, dropping around 400' over about a 1/4 mile stretch. There are two main segments of the falls, the one pictured here is a narrow flume of water while the right hand segment spreads out into wider flows. The amount of water can vary a lot depending on how much snow and ice is melting.
