DIRECTIONS - Drive east on I-90 and turn off at exit 34 (Edgewick Road). Turn left and drive north for about half a mile, turning right onto FR 57 (Middle Fork Road). Head down the road for around 12 miles to the end of the road, avoiding the turn towards the Middle Fork Trailhead along the way. Head down the trail for 2.2 miles to where it crosses Marten Creek. The falls are just upstream and can be seen by working your way through the woods to the left of the creek.

Marten Creek is the first major creek crossed on the Taylor River Trail. The falls consist of three major tiers. The lowermost tier can be seen from just off the Taylor River Trail as Marten Creek plunges out of a narrow chute into a nice pool of water. Above this drop is the largest tier where Marten Creek drops about 45' in a sort of hourglass shaped plunge. The uppermost tier drops around 25' in what would be a pretty drop if it wasn't completely covered with logs and debris.
