DIRECTIONS - The falls are located just off the Mountain Loop Highway. From Lower Chocwich Falls, continue to follow the path uphill, staying towards the left when it splits. The trail will end up on top of a small ridge, passing an absolutely enormous tree in the process. Once above the lower falls, the trail becomes very faint. Head over towards the creek once you get above the falls and you should find this one a little upstream from the middle falls.

Chocwich Creek drops over several waterfalls on its way to joining the Sauk River. Wishbone Falls is the upper of the three falls along the lower stretches of the creek. The waterfall consists of two tiers. The upper tier is a lovely 46' tall drop that splits in two part of the way down, creating what looks quite a bit like a wishbone. The creek then turns and drops over back-to-back horsetails of 26' and 40'. Add it all up and you get a 112' tall waterfall in a beautiful area. I did spot additional cascades above this waterfall, but the canyon gets very steep at this point. It appears that the south side of the creek may provide a view of those cascades. If someone wanted to call all three waterfalls along this stretch of Chocwich Creek one multi-tiered waterfall, I would have a hard time arguing against them. I chose to split the series up into three waterfalls because there is no way to see the three together and there are short, flat spaces between each.
