Infatuation Falls

Hearty Creek begins its life in Heart Lake and proceeds to drop over eleven waterfalls on its way to the South Fork, culminating in Bridal Veil Falls. As one progresses downstream, the names of the waterfalls follow the pattern from caring about someone as a person to falling more and more in love, eventually ending in marriage at Bridal Veil.

Infatuation Falls is one of the smallest of the eleven waterfalls along Hearty Creek, but it's just as pretty as the rest of them. Hearty Creek encounters a ledge of fractured bedrock and drops 21' in a very pretty fan into a lovely pool. As it exits the pool, it continues to cascade for another 19' bringing the total height to 40' The waterfall is located about halfway between Obsession Falls and the meadows.
