Segelsen Creek drains the southern side of Deer Pass near Darrington. The main waterfall on the creek is incredibly beautiful. It's also incredibly difficult to get a good view of without rappelling gear. The creek drops a total of 53' in two drops, a 45' tall concave horsetail and then it dumbs an additional 8' into a beautiful pool at the base. I found one very scary viewpoint where I took my pictures, but if I go back again, it will be with ropes so I can get right to the bottom. It's a shame this is such a difficult waterfall to view, because it is a stunner!
