Hearty Creek begins its life in Heart Lake and proceeds to drop over eleven waterfalls on its way to the South Fork, culminating in Bridal Veil Falls. As one progresses downstream, the names of the waterfalls follow the pattern from caring about someone as a person to falling more and more in love, eventually ending in marriage at Bridal Veil.

Agape Falls occurs where Hearty Creek runs through a surprisingly impressive and narrow canyon. The creek is constricted into a narrow slot and then launches into a pool at the bottom. The waterfall twists in a necktie shape as it drops. While fairly small, this is a stunning waterfall to behold in person and the canyon itself is amazing with its vertical walls on both sides.
