DIRECTIONS - Drive east on Mt Baker Highway to FR 33 (Wells Creek Road), signed for Nooksack Falls. Drive about 5 miles to the crossing of Wells Creek where the falls can be seen from the road.

Wells Creek Falls is one of my favorites. It is located on Wells Creek Road a short distance before crossing over Bar Creek. The falls drop into a beautiful amphitheater before rolling down a short canyon and below the road. Wells Creek has a plethora of waterfalls along its route, but this is the only one that can be easily viewed from up close. Getting a clear view usually requires fording the creek at least once. It's not too difficult but something to keep in mind.
