I first spotted this waterfall on Google Earth about eight years ago, but kind of figured I would never actually see it. For one thing, it takes a good amount of effort just to get to the canyon around the falls and it looked like it might not even be possible to see it if you get there. Well, it turns out that one can get a fairly decent view of the main drop, a nice 38' tall plunge. Below that, it drops again through a curve in the canyon. I couldn't get a view of what exactly goes on in the curve, but it's shaped in such a manner that the entire falls looks very much like a question mark from above, hence the name. I measured as best as I could tell to the bottom of the falls and it seems to be a total of 60', a bit of a disappointment.

With the lack of a clear view of most of the falls and the extreme difficulty of getting here, it's also a questionable decision whether anyone should bother trying. If you really want to find something cool, check out the unbelievable overhanging basalt cliff a little downstream. The columns are so well formed that you can see them on Google Earth.
