DIRECTIONS - Take HWY 20 east and turn left onto Baker Lake Road. Just after the road crosses over Boulder Creek, turn left onto FR 1130. In about 2 miles, the road will cross over Park Creek on a bridge. The falls are about 2 miles upstream from here. The trip is horribly difficult and not recommended.

Park Creek Falls is a complex, multi-tiered waterfall located deep in the heart of one of the most notorious valleys on Mt. Baker. In fact, during their epic circumnavigation of Mt. Baker in 2007, Dave Hess and Doug Shepherd took 11 hours to travel 2 miles up the side of the valley!!

The falls begin by dropping around 40' into a deep, narrow crack in the cliff face. After leaving this crack, the creek cascades for another 30' before temporarily flattening out. Just downstream, the creek drops another 15' into a hidden pool and then another 5' as it exits this pool (below left). After another short, flat section, the creek plunges another 20' (below middle) before finally tumbling 25' feet into a crystal clear pool, bringing an end to the falls (below right). The creek was at a very low volume on our trip, so I suspect the falls could be much more impressive with more water. The trip in would be a lot tougher though.
