DIRECTIONS - Drive east along Highway 20 through the town of Newhalem. A few miles east of town, stay left towards the small town of Diablo when the highway heads right over Gorge Lake. The road goes over Stetattle Creek right away. Park at the pullout and head along the trail on the left side of the road. Bucket Creek Falls is around 2 miles along the trail on the first large creek. Scramble upstream a hundred feet or so to a clear view.

The Stettatle Creek Trail begins near the tiny company town of Diablo and travels roughly three miles up the Stettatle Creek Valley. Along the way, it passes three small waterfalls. Bucket Creek Falls drops over this gorgeous 2-stepped waterfall just upstream from the Stetattle Creek Trail. The falls drop about 30' and then 10' over back-to-back fan shaped drops. The rocks around the falls are covered with moss and absolutely beautiful. While not overly large, this is one of the prettier waterfalls in the entire Ross Lake area.
