DIRECTIONS - Drive to the end of Middle Fork Nooksack Road and start hiking on the Ridley Creek Trail. Very quickly you will come to the Middle Fork. Scramble up the riverbed however you can for maybe 1/2 a mile to the falls. It's not super tough to get a distant view but getting up close requires a pretty sketchy trek across a VERY loose hillside.

This is the best waterfall on the Middle Fork, dropping 81' in a powerful plunging drop. The river above and below here is just a huge gravel/boulder bed, so the fact that the glacier and river left this substantial of a cliff is a little odd. This is not an easy waterfall to get to, but it's not horribly difficult either, especially for the Baker area.

The river is fed by the melting Deming Glacier just a bit upstream, so the water is very cold! This also means the hotter the temperature on a given day, the more water will be going over the falls. Do this one on a hot August day!
