DIRECTIONS - Drive out Miller River Road. About 3/4 of a mile before the trailhead, the road gets very close to the river and you should see a small, 10' tall block-shaped waterfall right below the road. Upper East Fork Falls is just downstream from there. Park and start following the river down to the falls. It's nothing too tricky, and you might even find a trail of sorts for most of the route.

Upper East Fork Falls is a great waterfall that occurs only feet off of Miller River Road, yet has remained almost completely unknown. The river sluices and slides for 44' in a mess of whitewater before splashing into a huge pool of water at the base. This is the uppermost of a trio of really nice waterfalls located on the lower stretches of the East Fork Miller River. It's also the easiest one to get to. A small tributary stream joins the river on the opposite side from the road via a very small waterfall. If one were to venture up that creek, I suspect something pretty cool exists. But first, you have to find a way across the river, so I haven't visited that one yet.
