From the moment it leaves Buckeye Basin at about 2200' elevation until it finally flattens out around 900' elevation, Buckeye Creek is essentially one, never-ending series of waterfalls. It becomes pretty difficult to separate it all, but I split the creek up into three major waterfalls and didn't bother naming everything else. I'll leave that job to the next person stupid enough to attempt the trip, because it's insanely tough.

Middle Buckeye Falls contains two tiers separated by a gorgeous pool and a couple dozen feet. The upper tier is a cool bowtie drop. The upper half splits around a rock and drops in two side-by-side drops before gathering and dumping into a large pool. As the creek exits the pool it drops again, sliding another 18' into another pool. Unfortunately, the entire area is surrounded by fallen timber, hurting what would otherwise be an incredibly beautiful spot.
