Barometer Creek runs over a seemingly never-ending series of waterfalls and cascades as it makes its journey from the slopes of Barometer Mountain to the North Fork of the Nooksack. Along the way, it drops over three major waterfalls. The upper falls consists of about 50' worth of cascades, followed by a 20' plunging drop. There is a strong possibility that there is more to this waterfall above what I have seen, but the cliff surrounding the creek was getting very steep and difficult to navigate. I wouldn't recommend visiting this waterfall. The journey in is physically demanding as well as fairly dangerous and the waterfall at the end is definitely not worth the effort. Find a better waterfall in the area to visit instead.
