Hidden Falls

Hidden Falls is the first in a series of small waterfalls along Cascade Creek on Orcas Island. The falls seemingly got their name from the fact that they are "hidden" from the old service road nearby. A bridge goes right over the top of the falls for a nice perspective. The more adventurous can work their way down to the creek bank for a better view (especially if that stupid tree gets out of the way).

DIRECTIONS - Take the ferry to Orcas Island. Upon disembarking, turn left and drive along the road for around 25 minutes until you enter Moran State Park. After passing Cascade Lake, take the left fork in the road and drive for about 1/2 mile to the trailhead for this and 4 other falls. The trail is around 1.5 miles to see all of the falls.
