Rachor Falls was first photographed (as far as we can tell) by a UW Professor in the 80s during a bike adventure. It's whereabouts were roughly known but no one could figure out how to get in there. A group of us got to the side of the falls and saw the upper tiers in early 2008 and then a month or so later I figured out how to see the main drop. It's still a rare location for anyone to visit for a variety of reasons.

Rachor Falls consists of three main tiers. The first two drops occur back-to-back and consist of a 46' tall plunge followed immediately by a 20' drop. At high volume, this is an incredible waterfall in its own right (see below middle). Below those drops, the creek turns and plunges 237' in a gigantic drop, hitting the cliff near the bottom and launching itself outwards. It's all pretty incredible. It's also all pretty much impossible to get a good view of. The costly annual permit to get you into the Tree Farm doesn't help matters any.
