This very nice waterfall is located near the Colonial Creek Campground, but there is no trail to visit the falls. Instead a short trip up the creek bed is required. Those who make the trek will discover Rhode Creek plunging a little over 100' in a straight drop. The canyon near the falls gets very narrow. This means that you will probably need to get your feet wet to view the falls. This isn't a huge deal to most of us, but some people hate getting wetting shoes so you've been warned. The waterfall is a little difficult to photograph thanks to the way the creek drops over the cliff. In addition, you will have to shoot straight up so any rain will cover your lens.
