Upper Deadhorse Falls is a rather disappointing waterfall located about a mile upstream from Deadhorse Falls itself. The waterfall drops 28' into a nice pool of water. The area around the falls is very pretty. In fact, the right side of the waterfall is full of blueberry plants such that a visit in the autumn when the leaves turn could be quite beneficial. On my trip into the falls, I had absolutely horrible lighting, so my pictures were pretty disappointing. I would highly recommend leaving this one alone, as it is just too small of a waterfall to go through the trouble of getting there. I did see a bear near the falls, so that was kind of cool.
