Devils Pitchfork Falls is (so far) the furthest upstream in a series of waterfalls on the Devils Fork of Coal Creek. It is the 6th from the bottom. There is one more (Double Eagle Falls) that I still need to get to finish the creek off, but we ran into substantial snow on my most recent trip. The falls begin with a 30' series of cascades into a gorgeous pool. Just around the corner from there, the falls continue with a 40' tall back-to-back drop seen below. This ends in another nice pool, this one probably 15' deep. Finally (as far as I can tell), the waterfall culminates in a 62' tall segmented drop. It's kind of a complicated mess and it's not really possible to see the entire thing from one spot, but the individual tiers are all really nice.
