Crater Falls is inarguably the best of the small group of waterfalls on Crater Creek. The creek plunges 94' in an almost vertical drop culminating in a beautiful pool at the base. Around and above the amphitheater are large evergreen trees that provide shade and a nice accent to the beautiful waterfall and ferns line the pool all around. While it's a little tricky to get to, this is one of the true hidden gems in the Alpine Lakes area.
