I first became interested in West Creek Falls about 10 years ago. It looked like the waterfall was located in the City of Tacoma watershed, so I assumed it would be inaccessible. That, combined with a long drive, has prevented me from attempting to visit. However, I was heading over to Easton for a disc golf tournament, so I figured I would give it a shot. It turns out, the waterfall IS indeed accessible, if you want to work hard enough.

Simply put, West Creek Falls is a stunner! The rather large creek plunges 67' in a wide berth into a beautiful pool. The entire area is surrounded by all things lush and mossy. A huge boulder sits right in the spray zone, creating a perfect spot to sit and soak in the spray (if you can figure out how to get on top of the boulder anyway). This is a spot that I will return to again and again, any time I'm playing disc golf in Easton. There appears to be another nice waterfall further upstream, but snow levels and bad road conditions made it impossible to get it on my first trip into the area. I'll get it soon.
