DIRECTIONS - Turn off Highway 2 just east of the town of Skykomish onto Beckler River Road (FR 65). Follow the road over Jacks Pass and down the other side. When you reach the junction with FR 63, continue straight onto the pavement and follow it for a mile or so. You should see the falls on your left/south.

San Juan Falls occurs where a very small, unnamed stream skips over 700' down the cliff face and into the North Fork of the Skykomish River. The falls aren't very impressive other than their tremendous height, however, they can be easily seen from the road so if you're in the area there's no reason not to look. This waterfall is very seasonal and dries out once the snow is gone.
