DIRECTIONS - Take the Lady of the Lake from Chelan to Stehekin. From there, catch the shuttle bus out to High Bridge. Walk across the bridge and follow the road for a few hundred feet to the Agnes Gorge Trail (not Agnes Creek, which is just before Agnes Gorge!). The trail is an easy jaunt that ends in 2.5 miles at the edge of the gorge. Go back down the trail a short distance and followed the ribboned side trail into the gorge.

Agnes Falls is a beautiful waterfall located at the end of the Agnes Gorge Trail. The waterfall consists of three tiers: 6' of cascades, a stunning 6' block shaped drop, and the 27' tall main tier which thunders into a deeper part of the gorge. Trail guides put out by the National Park list the waterfall as being 15' tall, so I was pleasantly surprised to find the main drop nearly twice that tall and two additional tiers upstream. Combine this with the large volume of Agnes Creek and you have a great waterfall that is definitely worth the effort if you have a few hours to kill in Stehekin.

A second, seasonal waterfall drops 200' into the canyon just downstream. This is sometimes called Agnes Gorge Falls, but it was almost completely dry when we visited.
