DIRECTIONS - From near the end of Mt. Baker Highway, hike two miles along the Lake Ann Trail to its junction with the Swift Creek Trail. Follow this trail for around two and a half miles to Qanqan Falls. Chokwil Falls can be seen across the valley from there.

Chokwil is a Nooksack word meaning "journey". To see this waterfall, you will have to partake in a long trip. The falls is the final waterfall that can be seen from the Swift Creek Trail as you head south. From the trail, a fan-shaped drop around 120' tall can be seen. Topo maps seem to indicate that the entire falls is closer to 200' but it's difficult to see from the trail.

I recently made my way down to the Swift Creek riverbed where I was able to attain a slightly closer view (below). With enough time and effort, it would be possible to get right to the base of Chokwil Falls.
