DIRECTIONS - From Highway 2 near Skykomish, turn onto Miller River Road. Almost immediately turn right onto Money Creek Road. Follow the road for around 5 miles until you see the large basin of Goat Creek on your left. There are a couple places where glimpses of this tall waterfall can be seen.

Goat Creek begins its life in Crystal Lake on the north side of Lennox Mountain. Upon exiting the lake, the creek begins a drop of around 1200' before joining Money Creek. Most of that height takes place in a continuous series of slides, plunges, and horsetails that constitutes one of the tallest waterfalls in the Alpine Lakes. It's just a shame that it's so difficult to appreciate.

The falls can be barely seen from a couple places on the road through-the-trees. We were able to get right to the base of the falls, but it required an incredible amount of effort that most people are not willing to put in. It's an unbelievable location though if you can make it.
