DIRECTIONS - Bridal Veil Falls can be seen from Highway 2 around the town of Index. The best view of the falls is from the Lake Serene Trail. The falls can also be seen from Highway 2. The best place is just past the turn off for the town of Index. If you're driving westbound the falls will be right in front of you.

Bridal Veil Falls is a massive waterfall dropping over 1000' from Lake Serene on its way to the Skykomish River. Even from across the valley, the size and power of the falls are very obvious. There is a very popular, step-filled trail to the lake that crosses the falls in several spots. I've never made the hike, mostly because I have a tremendous distaste for stairs and crowded trails.

One spot to see the falls is from the little coffee shop with the Bigfoot statue. There's even a sign signifying that parts of the movie "Harry and the Hendersons" were filmed there.
